Weaving

I've never been good at weaving a tapestry and trying to weave a beautiful tapestry of words to describe what my heart feels this morning is almost impossible. I could never pour out to you what is in my heart...I'm not sure there are even words to describe what happened yesterday. Half way across the world there is a little girl who has nothing. When she comes to us she will come to us with the clothes on her back and nothing else. She is an orphan...no, she was an orphan. But praise God, she is an orphan no more!! She's ours and what she is coming home to is a great big family of people who love her more than her little mind could ever imagine. Yesterday she was blessed with an amazing shower of gifts to welcome her home. Our sweet little kiss from heaven she is. And loved more than she will ever know!

Thank you for making yesterday one of the sweetest memories I hold in my heart. Thank you for showing Jesus to a little girl we now call ours. Sophia Nuan Li.

And thank you Abba Father for the gift of parenthood. I'm humbled and blessed to be her mommy.
